About us

Ilse Bastmeijer and Bernd Voorsluijs both grew up in entrepreneurial families and became entrepreneurs. Driven by personal motivation and expertise they founded Goeie Grutten Impact Fonds in 2015. Their desire to improve the world and to support financially sound and impact-driven businesses, has led to the start of Goeie Grutten.

The Goeie Grutten Impact Fonds team are:

Ilse Bastmeijer

“Food played a major role in the entrepreneurial family I grew up in and it continued to be so when I was working as a marketeer. When I discovered the potential of impact investing I began to realise that I wanted to spend my time and energy in a different manner on food. My passion for food appeared to go very well with the idea of using capital effectively. Together with Bernd Voorsluijs I therefore founded Goeie Grutten Impact Fonds. Since then I have been active as an impact investor. I am very proud we have been able to realise this fund. Furthermore I am extremely motivated to support companies in realising their own impact goals.”

Bernd Voorsluijs

“Although I have been fascinated by technology from an early age, I studied economics. After university I became self-employed and was involved in business economics, marketing and technology. From sheer interest I kept up with the developments regarding energy transition. However, I have found out that many plans and projects are not thought through well enough. A lack of knowledge and too much wishful thinking seems to determine the debate and the direction of the project. With Goeie Grutten Impact Fonds I am now dedicated to energy transition from a system approach. I support and advise companies that offer solutions from a complete energy system."

Kee Koopmans

“After studying econometrics I worked in different roles in venture capital, private equity and corporate finance. Working with and for entrepreneurs is what I like best. It is extremely motivating to be able to give them financial, practical and operational advice and assistance. As a shareholder, advisor, commissioner and coach I have become well-acquainted with the ins and outs of many companies and that is why I want to help these entrepreneurs with the expansion of their business. I am especially interested in those companies that play a socially relevant impact role. I assist them with my knowledge and the expertise I have gained over the years."
